Mount Erciyes is an inactive volcanic mountain with a height of 3916 meters.

This high mountain lies in the middle of Anatolia and its summit is covered with glacier and fog for 12 months. Cappadocia region was formed as a result of volcanic eruptions caused by this mountain thousands of years ago. Mount Erciyes is only 50 km away from Cappadocia and can be reached by driving in about 1 hour.

Today this mountain has many fully equipped winter ski resorts. You will enjoy the wonderful ski slopes while staying at           5-star hotels.
