This tour puts two of Turkey's greatest sites into three days, and it does it by air rather than by road. You fly to Cappadocia on the first morning and tour the north of the region straight from the airport, then sleep in a cave hotel. The second day is the south, the underground city at Kaymakli and the valleys around Goreme, before an evening flight to Izmir and a night in Kusadasi. The third day is Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient cities in the Mediterranean, with the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the great theatre, along with the House of the Virgin Mary in the hills above it. In the evening you fly back to Istanbul.

What to expect

• This is a private tour. Only you and your own group take part.
• The itinerary is flexible. You can change the route and set the start and end times to suit you.
• Accommodation is based on a standard double room, one night in Cappadocia and one night in Kusadasi.
• Breakfast at both hotels, lunch with a soft drink on all three touring days, and dinner at the hotel in Kusadasi.
• All entrance tickets on the route are included.
• Domestic flights are economy class with Turkish Airlines or Pegasus Airlines, according to availability. Baggage allowance is 8 kg cabin and 15 kg checked baggage (23 kg in total).
• If you would like a Spanish or Portuguese speaking guide, please select this option when booking.

Good to know before you book

• The tour uses the first flight of the morning on the first day, usually the 06:40, so your pick-up from the Istanbul hotel is around 04:00.
• The balloon flight is not included, but we can arrange it as an optional extra. It takes place at sunrise on your second morning, before the day's tour begins. As you spend one night in Cappadocia, there is one chance to fly, and flights depend on the weather. If it is cancelled, it cannot be moved to another day on this tour and you receive a full refund.
• Direct flights from Cappadocia to Izmir are not available every day. On those days the routing is via Istanbul.
• This tour does not include assistant services at airports. The driver drops you at the terminal entrance, and you proceed to your gate after checking in your luggage.
• The tour ends in Istanbul. You are back at your Istanbul hotel around 23:00 on the third day.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 7 days before the tour start date and receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date, the deposit is not refunded, as your domestic flight tickets are issued in your name and cannot be refunded. Any amount you have paid above the deposit is returned to you.
