This tour connects Cappadocia with the two great sites of Turkey's Aegean coast, and it does it by air rather than by road, which is what makes it possible in three days. You fly from Cappadocia to Izmir on the first day and settle into your hotel in Kusadasi. The second day is Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient cities in the Mediterranean, with the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the great theatre, along with the House of the Virgin Mary in the hills above it. You stay in Kusadasi for both nights, and drive inland on the last morning to Pamukkale, for the white travertine terraces and the Roman city of Hierapolis built around the hot springs, before your evening flight from Denizli to Istanbul.

 What to expect

• This is a private tour. Only you and your own group take part.
• The itinerary is flexible. You can change the route and set the start and end times to suit you.
• Accommodation is based on a standard double room, two nights in Kusadasi.
• All meals are included: breakfast and dinner at the hotel on both nights, and lunch with a soft drink on the Ephesus and Pamukkale touring days.
• Domestic flights are economy class with Turkish Airlines or Pegasus Airlines, according to availability. Baggage allowance is 8 kg cabin and 15 kg checked baggage (23 kg in total).
• If you would like a Spanish or Portuguese speaking guide, please select this option when booking.

Good to know before you book

• The tour ends in Istanbul. You fly from Denizli to Istanbul on the third evening and are taken to your Istanbul hotel, usually around 23:00. Please plan your onward travel from Istanbul, not from Cappadocia.
• On the last day you drive from Kusadasi to Pamukkale, about three hours, so the start is early and your luggage travels with you.
• Direct flights from Cappadocia to Izmir are not available every day. On those days the routing is via Istanbul.
• The Cleopatra Pool at Hierapolis is not included. If you would like to swim there, there is a separate entrance fee payable on the day.
• This tour does not include assistant services at airports. The driver drops you at the terminal entrance, and you proceed to your gate after checking in your luggage.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 7 days before the tour start date. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date, the deposit is not refunded, as your domestic flight tickets are issued in your name and cannot be refunded. Any amount you have paid above the deposit is returned to you.
