This tour is built for travellers who are already in Istanbul and want to see the city properly and add Cappadocia without arranging any of it themselves. Two days cover the old city, with the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar, and then the palaces and the Bosphorus. On the second evening you fly to Cappadocia and spend two days among the valleys, the cave churches and the underground cities, sleeping in a cave hotel, before flying back to Istanbul on the last evening. Your Istanbul hotel is your own, so you keep the room you have chosen and simply carry on from there.

What to expect

• This is a private tour. Only you and your own group take part.
• The itinerary is flexible. You can change the route and set the start and end times to suit you.
• Accommodation included is 2 nights in a boutique cave hotel in Cappadocia, based on a standard double room. Your nights in Istanbul are not included, so you stay in your own hotel there.
• Breakfast at the hotel in Cappadocia, and lunch with a soft drink on the Cappadocia touring days. In Istanbul lunch is not included, as the city has more good places to eat than we could put in a tour.
• All entrance tickets on the route are included, including Topkapi Palace with the Harem, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern.
• Domestic flights are economy class with Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines or AJet Airlines, according to availability. Baggage allowance is 8 kg cabin and 15 kg checked baggage (23 kg in total).
• If you would like a Spanish or Portuguese speaking guide, please select this option when booking.

Good to know before you book

• The tour starts at your own hotel in Istanbul on the first morning, around 09:00, so plan to arrive the day before.
• The flight to Cappadocia is on the second evening, after your Bosphorus cruise. Keep your Istanbul room for the last night, as the tour ends there.
• The balloon flight is not included, but we can arrange it as an optional extra. It takes place at sunrise, before the day's tour begins. As you spend two nights in Cappadocia, you have two mornings to fly, and if neither morning flies you receive a full refund.
• Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, the Grand Bazaar on Sundays, and the Blue Mosque closes to visitors around midday prayers on Fridays. Dolmabahce Palace is closed on Mondays.
• This tour does not include assistant services at airports. The driver drops you at the terminal entrance, and you proceed to your gate after checking in your luggage.
• The tour ends in Istanbul. You are back at your hotel around 23:00 on the fourth day.

According to the number of people participating in the tour, the total price is discounted. The total discount amount appears on the checkout page.

• 3 to 4  people -  5 % discount

• 5 to 6  people -  10% discount

• 7 to 8  people -  15% discount

• 9 to 10 people - 20% discount

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 7 days before the tour start date and receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date, the deposit is not refunded, as your domestic flight tickets are issued in your name and cannot be refunded. Any amount you have paid above the deposit is returned to you.
